Abstract The objectives of the study are to segment shoppers based on their behaviour; explore association between attitude towards shopping and behaviour of the shoppers; bring out the implication for a retailer for taking decision by manipulating variables that impact behaviour and in the process improve the performance of the store; and evaluate observation as a methodology for segmenting on behaviour.
