| Abstract |
Methods to resolve business disputes range from litigation to ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution). However, the costs involved with litigation and ADR prohibit small businesses to use these methods. Moreover, the international nature of business disputes creates problems of geographical territories and large distances. In this scenario, Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) provides the answer. This study will focus on issues related to ODR, use of ODR in developed countries, availability of technology in India, problems owing to lack of infrastructure, qualified personnel, and attitude in general in the business and legal community towards resolution of business disputes. |
