Abstract IIMA campus has many groups of residents: faculty, research, and administrative staff who live with their families, students (single and with families), MDP participants, PGPX participants (with family), and PGP PMP participants (April 2007 onwards). The existing healthcare delivery system offers only consultation and medication through its dispensary at fixed hours. The resident doctor also makes home visits (if required). Most employees depend on private facilities for investigations. Inpatient care is available through a few IIMA-certified nursing homes and hospitals. Many employees depend on private healthcare services and submit claims. The current system needs to be scaled up considerably to provide a better level of service in order to meet the expectations of various groups of residents. The objective of the study is to evaluate the service level of the current system and recommend alternative systems for efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services.
