| Abstract |
The broad objective of this case study is to demonstrate how cooperatives in Gandevi taluka of Navsari district of Gujarat, which is looked upon as a cooperatively rich region of the country, are coping with the generic weaknesses of the cooperative form of business. It also aims at developing a perspective business plan, based on their local resource base and the principle of Cooperation among Cooperatives, which should enable themselves to sustain and thrive in future in spite of current limitations in their approach. |
