| Abstract |
In partnership with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, SAATH, Akhand Jyot Foundation, Gujarat Cancer Society, and Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, an attempt is being made to create a model of public-private partnership in managing urban health, which has been neglected for long. One ward has been taken up for study and the available resources are being arranged properly so that residents of that and adjoining wards can get the best facilities without commuting long distances. If successful, this model can be replicated at other wards of Ahmedabad and other urban centres in India. |
