Number of mobile phones in use; b. Demographic and geographic profile of usage; c. Types of handsets and devices—avail security for secured transactions; d. Availability and usage (including functionality, reliability, etc.) of VAS on handsets and Gap analysis; and e. Roadblocks of availability of VAS in these samples. B. Feasibility study for socio-economic benefit of MFS implementation in UK and India a. Drivers and inhibitors for mobile technology adoption (developing and testing conceptual models on the adoption of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for cross-national comparisons of mobile penetration in India and the UK); b. Digital economy issues related to m-commerce and mobile financial services (includes Digital Divide); c. Supply and demand side issues to m-commerce and MFS d. Legal issues pertaining to m-commerce and MFS adoption in UK and India; and e. Estimate of economic impact on the GDP of India and UK.
