This work looks at four major spokes that make the digital wheel spin (also from the havenot’s perspective, the four major hurdles to be part of the digital world): hardware, software, connectivity, and power. Through lessons learnt from successful as well as not-so-successful ICT4d projects, The study will explore how latest technology can empower each of these spokes to actually ‘re-invent the digital wheel’ in a form quite different from what is typically in use today. |
