Abstract |
Adopting a phenomenological perspective, the study addresses a plethora of research questions relevant to people’s experiences of work in ITES organizations. It looks at the implications of ITES organizations for organization structure and processes and workplace relations. New forms of organizing which have connotations for the place of worker organizations, employee self-concept, and the extent of instrumentality in employer-employee relations will be studied. That ITES organizations are harbingers of gender equality in the world of work will be examined as also the impact of ITES related work on physical and mental health. |
